I thought carl was upset the media bothered his girlfriend. apparently they are not on the same page when it come to publicity. Didn't she give a statement saying that she would never photograph nude? This chic needs to make up her mind. I thought I read that she wants to be a school teacher- her behavior certainly isn't becoming of a mother to be (oops, did I just slip)

Did anyone notice how Pavano facial resemblence is starting to look like Tommy Lee of Motley Crue. Does that mean his fiance is another Pamela Anderson? Does that mean all the injuries Pavano has had occured because of headbanging and other rowdy behavior? Is he going to get tatoos and multiple body piercings? Pavano's former flame, Alyssa Milano, was picked up by Barry Zito. Does this mean that this Gia girl is on her way to Barry Zito after he's through with her? If he doesn't maybe Zito can go pickup Derek Jeter's leftover girlfriends.I don't get what is so popular with this fast lane lifestyle made popular by hip hop and heavy metal. In the past, the only player's significant other to pose without clothes was Marilyn Monroe. Look how jealous it made Joe DiMaggio.

hmmm I used to hate carl and I thought he was stealing money from the Yankees, but it looks like he has made a 360 and the last few spring training games he has pitched, He really has proved himself. Maybe Gia is rubbing those heavy legs. I have respect for Gia from what I read she is not willing to pose nude not for any price, and is refusing to make any comments to the papers about why she was in the hospital. If you ask me she doesn't seem to be the gold digger woman I thought she was when the whole car accident saga happened.

the title of this blog is bullshit. First of all Gia is not his fiancee, she may have made him more popular and more talked about. But the truth is she belongs with long time boyfriend Dom. I grew up with both Gia and Dom, and they were the perfect couple. I hope Gia trades this dumbass like the yankees should and gets back to her average joe sweetheart "DOM"

I would like to clarify a few things.

1. When you have a turn around from a waste of money to a cy young, that would be a 180 degree turn not 360. 360 would mean he was crappy, then got good and was back to crappy.

2. With opening day breathing down our necks, you mookes are talking about a loser's girlfriend who has extorted $24 million from the Yankees, I say extorted because he has never earned a penny of it.

3. Anyone want to talk about something baseball related for a change? For example, How will the DH position effect Giambi's batting average and power input being as though over the year's his DH numbers are terrible. Remind me again why the Yankees decided to make the move to get Giambi to ruin his career? You signed a first baseman, let him play the damn position for better or worse. Didn't he win a gold glove with Oakland at first base..?

Why would we want to to read crap about baseball on a blog about Carl Pavano's fiancee? Well, now it might be pretty apparent to the commenters on here what Gia was really about and in it for. She went to the NY MEDIA, YET AGAIN on Friday(getting kind of old and played out)to announce that she was breaking up with Carl because of his cheating ways. The timing however, couldn't have been better, 3 days before opening day when for some reason the stars were all aligned for Pavano to get the ball. Stressing in that interview that she didn't want the relationship to effect his pitching...being that she was the one who "trained him" (I wonder if he crapped on the carpet if she rubbed his nose in it?) She didn't want to comment on many things, yet she did conduct an interview? She said she'd like to remain private. (this is the part where my drink comes out my nose) PRIVATE? You're posing for guy magazines topless with your hands covering your fake rack...you would have been very private if Penthouse accepted your offer to pose for them with your hair covering your nipples, and you were engaged? Were you private when you spoke with Page 6 and Chauncey Hayden with Steppin Out Magazine, where you trash Pavano by saying the relationship was as bad as his pitching? You are not getting any fans that way sister.

You were and will be a nobody, Carl got you a little name recognition, and by the way, in my office, we all think you're far from hot and your behavior adds to your lack of appeal. What's also interesting is that you had to buy your looks. A friend of yours says you had lost many jobs because of your big nose, because it needed to be shot at an odd angle to hide it, so you got a nose job.

Oh, and for the poster who said Gia wanted to stay private and never told the media what her medical emergency was...did you ever think it might be something embarrassing because it affected her? Carl should go to the papers with that, maybe that would shut her up. She went to the papers with everything effecting Carl...just nothing regarding her.

For the guy that went to school with Pavano in Connecticut, please share the stories you've heard. I also know some people who are close or related, and I've heard PLENTY, mostly about this girl and a few about some of his others.

I'm glad someone finally said it. That last post was perfect! What is funny is that the other girls that pavano dated were never this attention starved. Trust me, I know first hand. Lets just say that I have met, had dinner with, and in some cases vacationed with other women he has dated.

The one in Tampa- really sweet, could care less who he was. Yet too old to be bartending and didn't really have any goals.

The one in Arizona- wouldn't necessarily say that they dated. She was after money, but in the meantime she was fun! Only met her once.

The one in Montreal- they dated on and off for years. She was very natural in looks and personality. But they would never work becuase she resented Carl due to his past. She moved on and he couldn't, there was a falling out, and they will never be the same.Plus she was jewish and had a terrible family.

The one in Florida- on the internet she appears to be an attention seeker but in reality she is not. I know she has been approached a lot recently to disguss their relationship and from what I hear she declines or states that they were only friends. Doesn't wear much make-up (doesn't really need it) and very natural personality like the one in Montreal. Which was probably the attraction.

Neither girl wore much make-up, both had naturally wavy hair which carl loved, and both were very strong willed, and both were genuinely in love with him. The one in florida I spent the most time with because that was who he was dating while I was around. It didn't work because she was 23 and just getting her life together. She refused to quit her job to travel around, which led carl to other women. I heard about a note that she left in his apt. and I never forgot it (it was pretty funny). She said she loved him but refused to be part of his 'rotation', or something like that. And I think that was the end of that.

Now, the one in NY. She's done, she was a slip up in my mind. Whenever I asked Carl about her he was very vague. She forced herself on him for months, never leaving his side. And too bad for him she was nothing more then a fame seeker.

He pitched well the other day. And he will have a great season as long as he remains single.

Thanks Alissa for your update, trying to make yourself appear as the "one" Carl never realized he had. I know Carl, let me rephrase, I know Carl very well. I also know that he is very private and anyone who wants to be famous/is famous or is using him to gain fame is definitely on his radar to steer clear of, unfortunately for him, he does like beautiful woman, its hard to find one that's not aspiring to be something or someone in the public eye. He could give a shit whether your hair is curly or straight, or whether you have goals or none. To him its just not important what someone does. His mom was a homemaker his entire life, he wants that for his children.

Carl did NOT have anyone other than Gia in Arizona. So whomever you are claiming to have met...?

I spent many nights out with him in Tampa while rehabbing, I did indeed meet the pretty bartender in Tampa, I met you around Easter time in Tampa, when you gave Carl the infamous note in the Easter Basket, he said you had dated some of his friends in Jupiter, yeah, he didn't like that very much. He knew it was to get him jealous. I also met Gia, I didn't like her, and Carl knew it. I agree with all the negativity surrounding her; media hound/average girl with too much plastic surgery...the list goes on. Carl never mentioned to me anything about anyone's goals, the fact that he asked you to travel the country with him, he never mentioned your hair or it being naturally wavy (sounds like a chick promoting herself to me) or the fact that he likes girls that wear little to no makeup (please, guys just notice if a girl looks hot naked and how she looks in the morning) Carl also knew that once you found out about Gia, you were DESPERATELY trying to break them up using all sorts of crazy tactics.

What you failed to mention is Lindsay in Montreal was his fiancee, there was more than dating, they lived together in Montreal, Carl strayed during the whole Alyssa Milano time but tried working it out but she was just to suspicious. See, now if you REALLY knew Carl and had dinner/vacationed with some of his girlfriends you would have known that, but you were really trying to gloss over that part and get to the part about you, making more of it than it was. Lindsay waslove sweety, not the few dinners and sleepovers you had.

I'm really sorry for you not making the semi-finals for The Hometown Hottie contest, or for the pagent in Miami that you lost, maybe you should fall back on that degree, or maybe just stick to bartending, or will Carl think your to old for that? Decisions decisions.
