I immediately thought the following things in this exact order after my first viewing. Understandably, this raised more than a few questions inside of my fragile little mind:
- John Kruk looks like Meatloaf singing the National Anthem at the 1994 All-Star Game in Pittsburgh.
- Holy crap, I remember Meatloaf singing the National Anthem at the 1994 All-Star Game.
- Peter Gammons. WHY?!?!
- Bronson Arroyo playing guitar. Not surprised at all.
- Is that Buster Olney? Between this and being forced to ask questions at the infamous "Steve Phillips Press Conferences" how can he possibly still be working at ESPN?
- Is that a key-tar?
- Gary Sheffield on the drums? With this group? Does. Not. Compute.
- What the hell would make you brag about drafting Carlos Lee? Also, El Caballo looks a bit out of shape. $100 million for that guy? Really?
- Did anyone actually think this was a good idea? Is that person already fired?

I love the Marlin's mascot cameo where he's just checking out the dancing girls. Though I still hate you for showing me this.

That's hilarious. Have you no souls? What is not funny about Kruk in leather and Joe Bo on a keytar? Okay, I'll indulge you in a better idea. Kruk, Gammons, and Oleny sitting around talking about Fantasy Baseball stats. Gammons gets angry, "what? you'd draft Miguel Cabrerra before Miguel Tejada? You've got MMD, Miguel Mixture Disorder" John Kruk shakes his head. End scene. On second thought, I like the song here better.

Geddy Lee doing ESPN commercials..that is a total chaotic scene going on there. I just watched Geddy on ESPN 360 for about 15 mins talking about Fantasy Baseball as well...you can watch it here:

Probably explains why he was on the commercial

Lighten up, Francis. This spot is supposed to be over the top, 80s metal cheesy, very Spinal Tap. It's funny.
I saw it today with no volume and noticed Geddy Lee at the end--that is totally classic!
Ged is a HUGE baseball fanatic, sang the Anthem when the All Star Game was in Toronto and is, not surprisingly, a roto-baseball nut.
As a fan, (baseball and Rush) it's very cool to see him in a national ad like that. Way to go Ged, and to the guys who cast this spot.
