You know baseball season is getting close when White Sox skipper Ozzie Guillen starts flying off the handle. When someone mentioned a 20-year reunion for the World Series champion 2005 White Sox, Guillen was having none of it."Those ceremonies -- 'Oh, let's bring back those guys from 2005,' we're all crippled and f*&ked up, pushing wheelchairs, kids crying because his dad was on the ballclub -- f*#k that,'' Guillen said. "Glorious.
I don't need that bull. A bunch of fat guys, another one is broke. 'Hey, where's your ring?' 'Oh, I don't know, I sold that son of a b%@ch two years ago.'"
The only thing better than Ozzie's crazed rant was the response from Scott Reifert, the club's vice president of communications:
"I guess we can scratch the reunion off the list."I don't know about you, but I'm ready for pitchers and catchers.
