During today's Sox-Angels game, a fan in the left field seats made an awkward grab for a foul ball, causing Anaheim's Garret Anderson to come crashing into him, spilling beer everywhere.
Routine stuff for sure. But watch the video closely: after he gets showered with brewski, the fan gets nailed with a slice of pizza thrown at him by some lunkhead in a Patriots jacket sitting a couple seats away.
The NESN commentators, the always-excellent Jerry Remy and Don Orsillo, were so taken with this event, they devoted about five hysterical minutes of air time to it, including a slo-mo, Zapruder-like analysis of the jerk tossing the pizza slice. Listen to their collective, "Ooooohhh!" as the slice is first shown bouncing off the guy's shoulder. This is Emmy Award material, people.
As far as I'm concerned, you can shut down the internet. This is the best thing we'll see here all year.

I was watching the game and saw it happen. I have never laughed so hard as I did when the game came back from commercial and Don and Jerry kept showing the replay and then analyzing it. Thanks for posting it here!

I saw this on TV. The funniest thing since the famous Seinfeld "second spitter" episode with Keith Hernandez. Love it. BTW that's what Fenway Pizza is sold for.
