I'll confess, I don't watch American Idol. But, I'm familiar with this Sanjaya character, namely because I own a television and a laptop -- the dude's face is inescapable lately.Well, he was in the stands at a recent Dodgers-Padres game and let's just say he got served by the home crowd.
From the Times of India:
"He was just sitting there having a good time with his friends, just like a regular person. And when the Dodger camera noticed him, the cameraperson ran over and taped him."The booing was probably a bit unwarranted here. I don't remember him striking out to end the inning or anything. But, I mean, the guy has to deal with Simon Cowell all the time. What a big meanie that guy is! So, you know, I'm sure everything worked out OK for all parties involved.
"Sanjaya's face pops up on the big screen right away. At first he smiled, he seemed to like the attention. But then the entire crowd at the stadium started to boo and it was loud! His smile faded a bit and his eyes looked sad," said an eyewitness who was at the Dodger stadium to watch the game.
"It's like he was trying to keep a fake smile on, but you could tell he was crestfallen. He just kept waving and smiling for a few seconds more then his image went off the screen," added the eyewitness.
Rock on, Los Angeles.

I feel so bad for Sanjaya. And I happen to like his singing. But the brutal way he is treated makes me embarrassed for "public". How sad is it when a young man is trying to reach a dream and gets so much grief for his efforts. I am no fan of AI, but I will watch & I will vote...that's the least I can do.

Sanjaya sucks! That he's on AI is a joke! He can't sing, often sounds like a girl, and looks like a girl as well! Send Sanajaya home!!!
Gotta love Dodger fans!

Honestly, America should be booing themselves not Sanjaya. It's not his choice that he's still on the show --- I'm sure he knows he's totally out of his league and that he should've left AGES ago --- you can tell that all he wants to do is just have fun and see how far this ride is going to take him --- I feel for the kid, I honestly don't like seeing him on American Idol but give him some slack, he's seventeen years old trying to do his thing, I'm sure if it were up to him he'd be off the show by now, but America boo yourself, your the one keeping him on the show.
