He is a horrible human being and is a product of the steroids era. To see a man that does not deserve the home run title to win is just sickening. And to see you use the race card is almost as bad.

I agree. It has nothing to do with being black. If he was white, he would still be a jerk. He is a product of steroids. Hank Aaron was the measure of a man. His bat found the ball and lifted it over the wall without the help of any steroids. Now that takes talent.

Barry is not hated because he is black. As a Giants fan I like Barry but he does put people off with his demeaner. However, if he was with any other team (say the hated Dodgers) all the fans in LA or any other city would be rooting him on to break the record. Funny how nobody is picking on anyone else for Steroid but Bonds. Steriods dont help hand/eye cordination and you need that to hit high averages as he has most of his career.

How can it be about race when A black man is passing another black man for the same record? It has to do with his Flack Seed Oil and constant lack of ethics. If he wouls have just came clean to the grand jury he would have been much better off. But right now he and Mark McGwire are sitting in the same boat of mistrust. This country loves to give peole a second and a lot of times a third chance, but he must come clean!

As far as a human being, he can be a cold fish, and my hero, Ted Williams, could be beautifully surly, and the Babe - well - he lived LARGE, and Ty Cobb was just old one, tough, mean SOB.

Hammering Hank is probably the best citizen of the bunch, no Q, but don't just hang Barry out to dry.

He is "white"....He won the single season HR record.....EVERYBODY knows he was on steroids..... you dont see all this backlash pertaining to him, do oyou? Absolutly Not !!!! Joe Buck is a great broadcaster. I truly enjoy Joe Buck and Tim McCarver giving commentary and play-by-play with Saturday FOX baseball. I have no respect for Barry "Mr. Steroids" Bonds. I'm tuning in to see Alex Rodriguez get his 500th home run this season. Nobody cares about Barry Bonds.

I'm a die hard Yankees Fan and i don't call Giambi by his name , i call him Balco. He is a cheat also and i think there is no excuse or exception for anyone. I used to think that Palmeiro was framed somehow but after finding out Rey Mysterio of the WWE does roids, nothing shocks me anymore!
