Yet A-Rod's made time in his night to possibly drop some dolla bills inside a stripper's G-string. Maybe he's just trying to loosen up the atmosphere. Dare I say this is the ultimate iceberg that sinks the Titanic? And will A-Rod go Kobe and bring Jeter down with him? A-Rod's going to have a tough time explaining this one.The cozy duo dined with two pals at a pricey steakhouse late Sunday night, then headed to a glitzy strip club before making their way to his hotel, where the pair ducked into an elevator and headed upstairs just after midnight.
Cynthia Rodriguez - A-Rod's wife and mother of their 2 1/2-year-old daughter, Natasha - was nowhere to be seen during the slugger's big night out on the town, which occurred the evening before the last-place Bronx Bombers' pathetic 7-2 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays.
And it came as Rodriguez took a room at Toronto's Four Seasons hotel - down the street from the Park Hyatt, where most, if not all of his Yankee teammates and coaches are staying during a three-game stint that ends tonight.

I dont believe the gentlemen mentioned anything about a 3 game sweep. (If you were replying about the 2004 ALCS...that was 4 straight not 3) You're the one who brought that up. You might as well get used to it too because it's going to be happening alot more. Honestly what did you expect from a team full of hired mercenaries with no team fludity whatsoever? They probably all hate eachother because each one is a threat to the others perfect, pinstriped persona. At this rate the Sox will have a 30 game lead by July so no there's need for the Yanks to even think about a come back. They need to just pack it in and face it...We all have to put in our time sucking. Boston had its turn! New York....suck city here you come!

It looks like a smokescreen to me. They'll do whatever they have to, to take attention away from the suck-ass baseball they're playing this year. I can't believe they chickened out of Jolly Roger getting spanked at Fenway this weekend.
What purpose do you think this story really serves? Do we expect the Yankees to suddenly rip off 10 wins in a row in response to A-ROD's late night excursions, catapulting themselves from worst to first? Should A-ROD hold a press conference and explain to all of the yankee faithful why he can't stay faithful to his wife? Or should he do a media tour on ESPN,CNN, MSNBC, etc., etc. explaining how difficult it is to remain true to the one you love when you spend so much time on the road, with so much temptation being thrown your way? Maybe he should write a book in response to this recent criticism outing all of his former teamates that also we're known to be involved in scandalous behaviour while thier wives and children sat at home in front of thier TV sets thousands of miles away cheering them on. Should we not be suprised if we check with local department stores and find a mass return of A-ROD merchandise? Will the Yankees cut him? Will his wife divorce him?
The answer is NO!!!!!! Players cheat. Not all players, but some of them do, and many of thier wives whether aware or unaware come to terms with it. But guess what? Plumbers, electricians, contractors, doctors, lawyers, CEO's, and even Presidents cheat too. Alex Rodriguez is human and so is his wife Cynthia. At a point in her life where she probably feels at her lowest, her and her husband's little secret that she's morbidly ashamed of, becomes national news for everyone to openly discuss and debate. Personally I can't stand stories like this becasue the majority of the time thier impact is felt off the field in the family and the home, not on the field with the team and the fans. This article only achieves one thing, the complete embarrassment of Cynthia Rodriguez.
ok. its simple. yes, the yankees are doing pretty badly right now. can they turn it around this season? i dont know. can they turn it around ever? definitely. so arod made a mistake. who hasn't? about the whole 26 ws thing...what else is there to say? the yankees won 26 ws. they can come back. i dont care how old you say it gets, it is the past, but doesnt the past say something about the future? its just a little bit of history repeating.

Leave it to some hapless Red Sox fans to come on here and stir this up. The interim Championship draught in the Bronx is just that "INTERIM" I lived in Boston. It is a beautiful place but honestly, the Sox are a second rate franchise in a first rate city. The Celtics are THE franchise in Boston. The photo looks like they're not together but just arrived at the club at the same time. I remember seeing a world series game back in 2000 where Roger Clemens arrived at Yankee Stadium with Andy Pettite. Does that mean he had just spent the night together with Pettie. No. That just means they arrived at the ballpark at the same time. It seems Red Sox fans are counting your chickens before your eggs are hatched in saying that the Yankees are done for the year. Remember in 1978 the Yankees came back to win it all even though they were 14 and a half games back at the end of July. This time there's the wild card. They don't need to win the division. The Yankees are stuggling because they been filling to starting rotation with rookie pitchers. These pitchers will develop and/or the veteran starters will get healthy enough to come back. Let's not forget that Rocket Roger Clemens is coming back. I put it this way, I like our chances. Win or lose I'm still a Yankees fan. Here in Miami when the Marlins lose, their fans disappear and even deny that they're Marlins fans. I also remember years ago when the media said Daisy Fuentes was having sex with A-Rod when he was still dating his future wife, Cynthia. Fuentes went on record saying that nothing was going on. I agree that A-Rod needs to stay out of strip clubs and also illegal mob run poker games. He does stupid things like that including inviting Jose Canseco over to his house. A-Rod doesn't use steroids because he doesn't have the freakish body that Canseco does. A-rod needs to get his sleep, rest, workout, and play great ball.His choices of who and where he hangs out after hours is poor just like the Marlins' Dontrelle Willis.
Who cares what he does on his time? As for the Yanks being washed up---they have been washed up many times before---in the 60's, 70's, 80's 90's and now. You know what? They always come back in a few years and there is no reason to believe they won't now. As for Steinbrenner? There are many teams that would be great if they had Steinbrenner as an owner. Look, A-rod is doing what all baseball players do on the road. They take care of business. On the field, they may lose-but off the field, I'm pretty sure they bat 1.000. Married or not 97.36% of guys would do the same thing. Stop hating on A-rod. He may be an overpaid douchebag playing for my least favorite franchise on the planet (more than the bears and I am a die-hard packer fan), but he's just layin a little pipe and livin' the dream.
