Mindy McCready May Not Be the Only Female Skeleton in Roger Clemens's Closet

The early front-runner for the award for who's having the worst 2008 has to be Debbie Clemens. The day before Valentine's Day her husband feted her by throwing her under the bus as a HGH user in front of a congressional hearing. Now, just before Mother's Day she gets to have her husband's predilection for other women splashed on newspaper pages for all the world to see.

On the heels of Mindy McCready's admission of a long-term affair with Roger Clemens, the New York Daily News is reporting she was just one of several women the Rocket befriended throughout his baseball career.

Roger Clemens hung out with several attractive women in his baseball career, including beauties in California and Boston and a former Manhattan bartender named Angela Moyer.

Clemens, 45, flew the women around the country on his private jet and bought expensive jewelry for at least one of them, a source told the Daily News Tuesday.

Either Clemens was having an awful lot of fun outside his marriage or, as Mike Lupica writes in the same newspaper, he was running a "mentoring program he started up in karaoke bars for promising teenage singers." That's possible, I suppose, but it seems an odd sideline for a pro pitcher, especially one that's held himself up as a paragon of virtue unfairly smeared by an ever-growing number of people.

A once great overly emotional hall of fame 'winner' asked for this...by not admitting he cheated right up front. He thought his name, his money, or his baseball numbers made him actually important and said: Bring It On ' , now... he will find he actually was seen by a lot of people who looked the other way, minding their own business... and would love to stick it to him ! Enjoy the real trial by fire...Roger, having dinner with yoru wife and kids, looking them in the eye.

Okay, there's a part on here that may be contradictory. If Roger Clemens used steroids, wouldn't he be impotent? And for how long? Since the drug is in your urine for not a day but about a month, wouldn't he be impotent for that amount of time? Would it just then be a platonic friendship? There's a lot more questions that have popped up here now. Even if he strictly did have a friendship, it was wrong for him to be flying women around and buying jewelry for them. It would have been better than instead of his wife getting HGH that she would have gotten plastic surgery. If he wanted a younger woman, why didn't he get his wife to go to a plastic surgeon and get a facelift, bigger breasts, etc?

She's pretty HOT looking, so was Mindy before the drugs. I heard that Debbie likes women just as much as men.

Ralph, using steriods doesn't necessarily make you impotent. Will probably reduce the size of your testes, leading to problems with sperm counts being low and therefore problems procreating-but most of these guys were on their own programs, mixing different types of steriods, testosterone and growth hormones. Who knows what type of side-effects they were having month to month. Plus using your therory, Clemens couldn't even have had his own kids unless he used invitro or adopted. Secondly, some men cheat even when their wives look great. They meet women all over the country and the temptation is great-mixed with money and power and there you go-adultery or misremembering a relationship. By the way, his wife did get bigger breasts and if we go by just what McCready has suggested, it didn't make a difference. Plus, this is not about flaws in his wife-this has to do with his flaws, his indiscretions, his supposed steriod use, not about my wife doesn't look good to me anymore after bearing my children therefore I need to find a teenager to seduce. Wife needs the facelift, plastic surgery, breat implants-gheez-how about a tune up and a oil job too Ralphie.

My thoughts exactly. I got a vibe that something like this might come out when the Canseco house party story w/ the wives checking out each other's new racks was brought up, but Canseco adamantly defended Clemens about being a "non-cheater". Sounded fishy to me.
Many times rich wives look the other way about their husband's wandering eye if they can get a little also at the same time. Sounds like th threesome stories will be next!!!

McNamara lied or Clemens lied. The singer lied, or Clemens lied. I'm starting to recognize a pattern. In the jury of public opinion, I conclude that Clemens is a liar, and a cheater. How fast is Clemens going to drop that suit against McNamara (and mark it "Settled"?). I give it 3 months.

For a guy who would be going into the "Baseball Hall Of Fame" this year if he would have retired when he said he was going to the first time. Stating that it was important for his mother to see him go in the "Hall." Well, he's now going in the "Hall of Shame." ..... What's Mom thinking now, Roger?
