Blogger 'Breaks' Firing of Ned Yost

It's only a matter of time until the axe falls on Brewers FAIL Ned Yost. Will it be today, the team's lone off-day after a three-game sweep at the hands of the Red Sox? One blogger, Badger Blogger in fact, believes so:
While BadgerBlogger can not independently confirm this, sources close to the Milwaukee Brewers organization tell BadgerBlogger late this evening, in the midst of another horrid road trip, and on the heels of a sweep by the Boston Red Sox, that Brewers manager Ned Yost will be relieved of his duties during the team's off day Monday, and replaced on an "interim" basis by team bench coach Ted Simmons.
And ... that's pretty much the entire content of Badger Blogger's report. Because I know nothing of Badger Blogger or whether he/she has been right about breaking news in the past, I suppose this comes with a big fat grain of salt. Plus, Senor Badger seems less than confident; whatever "independently confirm" means in the context of a two-paragraph blog post, bloggers usually overstate their case when breaking news because of the inherent credibility gap they have to overcome.

The Journal-Sentinel's Brewers Blog is wary of the post, but passes it along anyway. Tom Haudricourt believes Dale Sveum would replace Yost, and not Ted Simmons, as Sveum has been with the club longer and it is unknown whether Simmons would even want to manage. So, you know, maybe Yost will get canned today. Maybe not. It's anybody's guess, literally.
