Perhaps you remember the "Ruin Romo" movement by anti-Cowboy fans? Essentially, to strike fear in the heart of Tony Romo, Panther and Redskin fans took cutouts of Jessica Simpson's face and "wore" them in the stadium.

There were no cutouts of Madonna, but there were, as you can see above, plenty of photos used to garner Alex Rodriguez' attention while in Toronto this past weekend.
Fans had some fun at Alex Rodriguez's expense at the Rogers Centre last night, distracting the slugger with photos of Madonna. The ploy proved effective as the Yankee managed just a single in a 5-0 loss ...
This doesn't even seem that spiteful to me, and only really comes across as funny because I keep imagining the look on A-Rod's face as he's locking eyes with the dude in the orange hat, who's trying not to lose it. It also goes to show the epic level of absurdity -- there's a musical! -- that this whole MaRodonna fiasco has reached in our culture. In totally unrelated news, I watched "Idiocracy" last night.
