Jonathan Papelbon has a deal with Comcast Sports whereby he does postpregame interviews after Red Sox games. That is how he ended up being mortally embarrassed by David Ortiz in front of all of his teammates. It is also how he ended up doing a post game interview while chugging champagne after the Red Sox clinched the playoffs.
Some might consider it uncouth, but I kind of back it. Paps idiocy is what makes him pretty endearing to fans and I, for one, hope he continues doing ridiculous things on television.

Who on the team is nicknamed Bubbly??
Papelbon does not have "a deal with Comcast Sports whereby he does postgame interviews". That is not "how he ended up being mortally embarrassed by David Ortiz in front of all of his teammates".
Papelbon does a weekly pregame interview segment with Comcast New England- one day only, that's all. There are no postgame interviews. That was not how Papi got ahold of the high school dancing video.
Seriously, before "reporting" stuff like that as "fact", it only takes a second to check your facts.
So Papelbon has agreed to do a once a week segment with Comcast? Doesn't have to involve money -- that's what we call a "deal".
The video was, according to Comcast, given to them exclusively by his mother. I think his relationship probably brought that about.
I do apologize for the "post" instead of "pre" game thing though. It's been changed.
Remember, Ortiz will always rock the house for the Sox. Being a Twins fan, not a day goes by that I don't miss him. The BoSox are so lucky to have him and, truly, if the Twins don't do it, I want the Red Sox to do it. There is something truly magical about Boston. Your fans are loyal, although long suffering, and truly deserving of every title you get. Ortiz rocks...NEVER FORGET IT!!!
