The Rays have been exceeding expectations for almost seven months, so why stop now? Last night, in a game where they were significant underdogs, they beat up on Boston ace Jon Lester to take a 2-1 series lead. Tonight they send Andy Sonnanstine, who finished off their ALDS win against the White Sox, to the hill. Boston counters with Tim Wakefield, as the Red Sox try to even the series at two. If they come back in this series, it certainly wouldn't be the first time; they were famously down 3-0 against the Yankees in the 2004 ALCS, and just last year they were down 3-1 to the Indians before rallying to win the series. Join us after the jump at 7:45 PM ET to follow the action.

I have been watching the world series and I have to tell you, it would have been alot better if the Red Sox were in it. God, I hate the Red Sox, but Damn, I have never seen a team play like a freaking little league team like the Rays. Evan Longoria, is absolutely terrrible. It is amazing to see these players make the money they do and see how bad they play. I understand you go through slumps, but come on. When the Philies pitcher hits a home run in the world series and someone (supposely) an allstar (Longoria) has gone f------ 0-14 there is something wrong. Makes me not want to even watch this shit anymore. I think all sports are like this. I get tired of watching teams play great for a little while and then look like they have never played before try to show up in a world series. But anyway. I guess I will turn it on Desperate Housewives. Much more fun.
