World Series Game 1: Rays/Phillies Live Chat

It's finally here. After enduring an extra off day in the name of House, the 2008 World Series is kicking off tonight in Tampa Bay with Scott Kazmir and Cole Hamels taking the mound at some vague time after 8 PM EST. Kazmir was the winner in the All-Star Game this year and as a result, he'll be pitching at home tonight.

As Game 1 matchups go, this game is probably a lot more important for Philadelphia. Hamels is their ace and the only Philadelphia starter who's clearly better than his mound opponent. Losing Game 1 is never the end of any series for any team, but the Phillies especially need to get off on the right foot on the road tonight. After the jump, you can join me and my fellow FanHousers around eight as we get ready for the first game of this year's Fall Classic.
