When a regular city wins a championship, they celebrate. When Philadelphia wins one, they burn the city down. Philly Riots chronicles a city finally pushed over the edge.
While calling Philly citizens out for their early World Series parade plans, we were besieged by kind words like "HEY! &#%!FACE -- how can you say Philly fans are rioters?!?!?!!!1" and "YOURZE A BLOGGER FOR LIVES, WILL BRINZON!!?" So it's encouraging to get (relative) proof that Phillie fans are in fact doing stupid and dangerous things. Like climbing traffic poles and getting beaned in the head by what appears to be a Grey Goose bottle.
Yeah. So how you like us now. (Disclaimer: Yes, I am aware that all people who live in Philadelphia are not represented by this idiot, and I hope he's alright.)

first off, you're an idiot. There were some isolated idiots out there, but the celebration was just that last night. I've seen worse in small college towns where cops had to use tear gas because the crowd was out of control. You're the type of idiotic, want to be writer that perpetuates the stereotype of Philly fans as being out of control. Every fan I saw last night on Broad St when they did see somebody doing something stupid made it a point to either make them stop or find a cop to make them stop. You can't make statements based on some over used stereotype of Philadelphia sports fans, so take your lazy, want to be ass and write some blog on how idiotic you are.

People in Philly take great offense at being lumped in with these people. I can understand that, I guess, but the sense of pride over where you happen to have been born is probably the lamest thing possible unless the Cubs win the World Series in my lifetime.

Philly fans are idiots in general (of course not all of them are). I know this is true because I'm friends with plenty of them. All of my college buddies hailing from Philly are blabbering morons who _would_ be out there rioting with this guy, but they're great guys nonetheless. When you have a football stadium that had a jail in the basement, tells you all you need to know about Philadelphia and their fans. Hey Jackass, every time there is a championship in any city there are always a few isolated incidents of idiocy. Montreal almost destroyed there city completely when the Canadiens won the cup years ago. The bottom line is that "We are the Champions" and as hard as you jealous dirtballs try, you can't put a damper on it!!!
