You could call Alex Rodriguez a variety of derogatory names. We've seen so many during this offseason alone. Cheater. Philanderer. Liar. Narcissist. John. People also like to put spins on his nickname as well, giving us popular derivatives like "A-Fraud" and "A-Roid." When it comes to Red Sox second baseman -- the reigning AL MVP -- Dustin Pedroia, though, he'd apparently prefer to keep things simple. "That guy," [Pedroia says], pausing for a moment to find the right word, "is a dork."I almost think that has to hurt more than anything, doesn't it? The other words are all associated to public accusations and allegations. "Dork" is just calling A-Rod something he seems desperate to avoid. He really seems to want people to like him, despite his claims. He poses in the mirror because he wants to look studly. He lays in Central Park shirtless to attract attention. He tries to be cool with virtually all he does in the public eye.
And Dustin Pedroia, the scrappy 5-foot-8, 170-pound second baseman, thinks he's a dork.
High comedy. I still haven't stopped laughing.
The only question is, will A-Rod feel the need to publicly explain these allegations? Maybe a quick press conference or an interview with Peter Gammons?

Can't you people just let things go? Enough is enough with the A-Rod trashing. Nobody is perfect and who the hell is Pedroia or anyone else to sit and judge. Move on and grow the hell up already.
the reigning a.l. m.v.p. oh yeah i think he has a world championship as well
Kim??? Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Waaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh.......
A-Froid will be the center of ridicule as the Yankees crash and burn with their old and overweight pitching staff...ha!
People will "just let things go" when this embarrassment stops giving us new ammunition every week...
Kim must have the hots for A-Roid, Be careful baby, he`s probably got STD`s
I wonder what Dustin calls his CHILD MOLESTING brother...
I wonder if this trait runs in his family, I hope not...
How many blogs would be written if Arods brother had sex with a 14 year old boy...
listen u little midget.. u didnt even deserve the MVP last yr.. many more superior to your yr. keep ur little mouth shut.. as we will bring the championship back to NY>>>>>>
I said it once and I'll say it again. The Sox had better sit on that little squirt Pedroia before he gets into real trouble. Him AND Papalbon---and I've been a Sox fan for over 55 years. For a "short stuff", this kid has a big mouth.
I WISH I WAS A $500 MILLION DOLLAR DORK WHO BANGS OUT HOT MODELS EVERYDAY
PEDRIOYA LOOKS LIKE A HOMELESS PERSON WITH HIS SCRUBBY BEARD AND FASTLY BALDING HEAD
GO YANKEES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A rod is a DORK!!! for the most part the entire ny yankees are a bunch of DORKS!!!
pedroia have to be kidding me right? can some one that know pedroia tell him to shut up!!
Dustin, till U get the call from the HOF.Worry about BBall. Thats what ur getting paid 4. Remember if he decides 2 take u out on a DP.Hes
big enough 2 make it hurt.
Pedroia is on his way to being a HOF player. In 2 years he has already been a World Series Champion, Rookie of the Year, and MVP of the league.
I don't think it's too far fetched to say. he is doing a pretty good job so far with his career.
Lets see how the Red(neck)Sox do without Manny for a whole season.
We got Jason Bay in exchange. We'll be fine.
Let's see how the Yankees would do without money. Believe me, it wouldn't be pretty.
I hate the Yankees but at least A-Rod's brother didn't rape a 14-year old boy. Pedroia is the worst-ever-MVP-award-winning-midget in the history of baseball,he would have finished out of the top-ten in the other league.
My thoughts exactly, worst MVP ever. Only reason Pedroia won MVP is because he plays for Boston, which IMHO has become an even more annoying team and fanbase than the Yankees. Pedroia had a good season, I'll give him that. But I hardly think it was an MVP season. Had he played for Tampa Bay or pretty much any other playoff team he wouldn't have even got any MVP votes much less won the award.
anyone who has ever known dustin knows him to be a dorky type pissant so it is interesting that he would use that term - dork - for another guy.
he is a very good baseball player but as a person he is a dork and has been for many years -
"dustin the dork" is what he's been and is.
"dustin the dork" he has been known as for a long time so it is interesting that he would call someone else a dork when so many other terms were available to him.
he's a very good baseball player but a dork nonetheless. who knows, maybe a-rod is a dork but you'd have to be one to know one and dustdork
would be qualified for sure.
dustdork: have a good year!
