There are many fantastic things about Fox's baseball coverage. Their music, for starters, is second to none, often featuring the dulcet tones of Phish, Widespread Panic and the White Stripes during Saturday games. Another fantastic thing: any excuse to show this picture of Rupert Murdoch. Two things that aren't awesome, however, are Joe Buck and Tim McCarver. Fortunately, when they screw up, it's quite amusing, and when they show the wrong man as John Mayberry, Sr., following his "son's" first career homer Saturday, well, good times ensue.

Who cares they make mistakes. Only loser "sports columnists" make a living constantly criticizing others in the business. Get a life and while you are at it get some talent. Maybe eventually you can get on TV too. All of you Rona Barrett, gossip whimps really need to grow up and start reporting sports rather than take join in degrading others. It really gets tiring when women like you or Phil Mushnick find it necessary to promote negativity. Yes, I do realize the irony of my post as a response. However, I am tired of wanting to read about sports and keep getting hit with columns against others. You ca report the story as humorous ( I saw the TV game thoguth it was funny ) but to post the story to take digs at McCarver and Buck is umprofessional and stupid.
