Roy Halladay Is Improving

PHILADELPHIA -- Roy Halladay, who came out of his last start with a groin injury, played catch on Tuesday afternoon and said he felt good.

"I'm going to throw a bullpen [session] tomorrow, go from there," Halladay told FanHouse before the Blue Jays played the Phillies.

Halladay, who is 10-1 with a 2.53 ERA, had his next start pushed back because of the injury. The Blue Jays don't need him to start until Saturday.

Manager Cito Gaston said that Saturday start is still possible.

"He feels a bit better," Gaston said. "We should know more [Wednesday] after he [throws]."
