CC Sabathia is a tremendous reason for the Yankees' recent surge in the standings, the return of Alex Rodriguez aside. So it's obviously a tremendous concern for the Yanks that their ace left Sunday's game after only the second inning with left-bicep "tightness."Of course, it's not that shocking, I suppose -- based on Sabathia's recent run of heavy innings pitched leading back to last year, but it's still a nightmare nonetheless to see the big man exit early.
Sabathia was pulled with one out in the second, experiencing tightness in his left biceps. The Yankees said no tests were planned on the pitcher's arm, as he was listed as day-to-day.Well, that couldn't possibly be more helpful! Clearly, though, the Yankees probably plan on seeing how Sabathia feels when he wakes up Monday morning and then moving from there.
Word on the street, too, is that Sabathia actually protested the team's attempt to take them out, but Joe Girardi wasn't having any of it. That is a good thing -- the worst-case scenario would have been the Yankees' tremendous investment injuring himself further in a game where the team wanted him to come out. Obviously we'll know more once the Yankees bother to run some tests and once the trainers get to evaluate Sabathia and talk to the media, but for now, you can bet that most Yankees fans are holding their breath.

Right, And then there was "exhausted" A-Roid out partying at 2:30 AM with his new wacky girlfriend Kate Hudson. No wonder he is way too tired to play and needs at least one day off a week. For 125 Mil.
