As if the frantic nature of the rapidly approaching July 31 trade deadline wasn't enough, the New York Times broke the story that David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez were both on the infamous "List" of players who tested positive for a banned substance in 2003.
Naturally (not chemically-enhanced), the MLB FanHouse crew -- myself, Ed Price and Jeff Fletcher -- was there to offer instant analysis on Ortiz, the blockbuster Holliday and Lee trades and what lies ahead with the deadline just hours away.

A major league baseball player is using steroids? I am shocked! Totally and completely shocked! So shocked I am on the floor! Who would have ever thought that Big Papi had used steroids when he just commented on the situation in May and SAID he'd never used them?!?

So if the RedSox titles are tainted, What about the titles the Yankees won? This just now gives the Cr-Yankees fans something else to chant now that they can't chant 1918 anymore.

Yes, please release the names of all the guys on that list that Mitchell, the Red Sox official, put together. All the Yankees were revealed probably by him.
Whether the titles that the Sox won will be considered tainted is not the issue. The issue is that the Red Sox were hailed as Gods and Angels while the Yankees were hailed as Demons and Evil.

When I stated that Pappi was a user two weeks ago, he came out with some ridiculous stats trying to explain how the most productive years that BIG POOPIE had were after the 2003 testing year.
I guess he didn't consider that he was taking the woman's fertility drug(like Manny) to mask his HGH.
