If Game 1 was all about the aces, then Game 2 of the World Series will be about wild cards -- namely Philadelphia's Pedro Martinez and New York's A.J. Burnett. It's virtually impossible to know what to expect from either, but you can be sure the crowd at Yankee Stadium will be electric with Martinez, a Yankee villain many times over, pitching in the new building for the first time and the home team needing a win to avoid a 2-0 hole as the series shifts back to Philadelphia for Game 3.
It's drama on high in the Bronx, and the MLB FanHouse crew will be here to talk you from first pitch to final out in a LIVE chat starting at 7:45 PM ET.

I'm a die hard Yankee fan but, I am also a baseball fan. Baseball needs to find a way to find new umpires. Besides the calls that they have made against both the Phillies and the Yankees, many of them are out of shape and at times out of position to make a call. The strike zone has become a joke and it seems that whenever a team has a rally going, they effect the game most by their calls. Just look at umpire Joe West, this man is so heavy, that he can barely move on the field. That should not be acceptable in baseball, especially in the World Series. Let the ballplayers, who are out there making the effort decide the outcome of the game and not the umpires. Baseball fans need to demand better!

I totally agree. This is happening way too much and at the worst possible time, the postseason. The instant replay desperately needs to be integrated. Baseball is a classic sport, but that doesn't mean it has to be completely technology deficient.
