That's way too long for anybody to go without getting a fix of their favorite chemically enhanced slugger turned chemically enhanced author turned chemically enhance <strike>embarrassment </strike>boxer. <br /><br />Thankfully <a href="http://www.fanhouse.com/2008/05/27/jose-canseco-will-take-on-vai-sikahema-in-the-fight-of-the-centu/">Jose's upcoming opponent</a>, former NFL kick returner <a href="http://www.fanhouse.com/tag/VaiSikahema/">Vai Sikahema</a>, works for the local NBC affiliate in Philadelphia and he's allowing us all a glimpse into his preparation.<br /><br /><center><object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" width="425" height="355" id="Redlasso"><param name="movie" value="http://media.redlasso.com/xdrive/WEB/vidplayer_1b/redlasso_player_b1b_deploy.swf" /><param name="flashvars" value="embedId=54ea7e8d-7668-4b87-b1c1-c159ce1715a8" /><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always" /><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><embed src="http://media.redlasso.com/xdrive/WEB/vidplayer_1b/redlasso_player_b1b_deploy.swf" flashvars="embedId=54ea7e8d-7668-4b87-b1c1-c159ce1715a8" width="390" height="320" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowScriptAccess="always" allowFullScreen="true" name="Redlasso"></embed></object></center><br /><br />That is some good graphics work right there, though I have to echo Bugs &amp; Cranks' David Chalk (where I <a href="http://www.bugsandcranks.com/the-clubhouse/video-vai-sikahema-training-footage/">found this video</a>) in saying that they should have Rocky'd it up a little bit. Where's the footage of Sikahema running the stairs or punching slabs of frozen cow in a meat locker? That would have made the whole piece so much better.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://mlb.fanhouse.com/2008/06/20/vai-sikahema-is-ready-for-canseco/">Vai Sikahema Is Ready for Canseco</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://mlb.fanhouse.com">MLB FanHouse</a> on Fri, 20 Jun 2008 12:52:00 EST . Last we heard from Jose, he was set to fight <a href="http://www.fanhouse.com/2008/05/27/jose-canseco-will-take-on-vai-sikahema-in-the-fight-of-the-centu/">Vai Sikahema in a "celebrity" boxing event</a>. Unfortunately, sacrificing Vai Sikahema to the god that is Jose Canseco is just not enough. Jose's blood lust can not be quenched with one mediocre kick returner from years past.<br /><br />No, for Jose to truly be satisfied, he needs to fight somebody who can combine the nerd qualities of someone who blogs and plays online role-playing games, with the ability to strike out big league hitters. Who could ever meet such standards!?<br /><br />From <a href="http://msn.foxsports.com/rumors/mlb">Ben Maller</a>:<blockquote>Retired steroid slugger Jose Canseco challenged Red Sox pitcher <a href="http://www.fanhouse.com/tag/CurtSchilling/">Curt Schilling</a> to a fight while appearing this morning on Angelo Cataldi's morning show on <a href="http://www.610wip.com/">WIP in Philadelphia</a>. Canseco also claimed the bloody sock that helped make Schilling famous was actually ketchup.</blockquote><br />Jose dares<a href="http://www.fanhouse.com/2007/03/27/ok-so-curt-schilling-really-is-a-nerd/"> taunt Scythehands Voxslayer</a>! Doesn't he know that Scythehands is a level-5 warrior (or whatever the hell they're called. I don't know, I don't play.) in the World of Warcraft? I don't care what kind of martial arts history Canseco has, surely his skills can not match up with Voxslayer's fire attack and talking tiger.<br /><br />Maybe Jose would be better off fighting a less imposing foe, like say, <a href="http://www.fanhouse.com/tag/KimboSlice/">Kimbo Slice</a>.<br /> <br /><!-- START SWF PUBLISHER Module: 303854 --> <script src='http://www.aolcdn.com/ke/swfobject/aol_swfobject.js' type='text/javascript' language='javascript' charset='utf-8'></script> <script src='http://www.aolcdn.com/ke/swfobject/alt_content.js' type='text/javascript' language='javascript' charset='utf-8'></script> <script src='http://www.aolcdn.com/ke/swfobject/aol_swfobject_helper.js' type='text/javascript' language='javascript' charset='utf-8'></script> <script src='http://www.aolcdn.com/ke/swfobject/ke_kit_refresh.js' type='text/javascript' language='javascript' charset='utf-8'></script> <script src='http://www.aolcdn.com/_media/modtools/swfpublisherproxy.js' type='text/javascript' language='javascript' charset='utf-8'></script> <script src='http://www.aolcdn.com/_media/channels/jfs_msgr.js' type='text/javascript' language='javascript' charset='utf-8'></script>
