They're either <a href="http://deadspin.com/sports/decisions-people-are-going-to-wish-they-had-back/way-less-charming-than-harold-and-maude-271626.php">marrying their pregnant 16-year old players</a>, <a href="http://www.fanhouse.com/2007/06/23/hoover-high-school-football-subject-of-mtvs-two-a-days-plag/">running corrupt programs while getting reporters fired</a> for doing their jobs, or now they're being arrested for sexually assaulting their own players.<br /><br />You may remember <a href="http://www.fanhouse.com/tag/MelHall/">Mel Hall</a>, but odds are you don't. He played in the Majors from 1981 to 1992 as a member of the <a href="http://www.fanhouse.com/tag/Cubs/">Cubs</a>, <a href="http://www.fanhouse.com/tag/Indians/">Indians</a>, <a href="http://www.fanhouse.com/tag/Yankees/">Yankees</a> and <a href="http://www.fanhouse.com/tag/Giants/">Giants</a>. These days he's a girls basketball coach in North Richland Hills, Texas where <a href="http://www.fanhouse.com/mlb/story/_a/ex-player-hall-arrested-on-sex-charges/20070623183509990001?ecid=RSS0001">he was arrested on Thursday</a>.<blockquote>The 46-year-old Hall was released from jail Friday on $35,000 bail. He was arrested the previous day on charges of sexual assault of a child under 17 and aggravated sexual assault of a child under 14, police said Saturday. The second charge carries a possible life sentence because of the age of the alleged victim.</blockquote>Hall could not be reached for comment as all the phone numbers the AP could find under his name were either incorrect or disconnected.<br /><br />Police are continuing to look for more victims on Hall's team, and possibly from the baseball camp he organized in the area.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Previously at The FanHouse:</span><br /><a href="http://www.fanhouse.com/2007/06/23/hoover-high-school-football-subject-of-mtvs-two-a-days-plag/">Hoover High School Football, Subject of MTV's 'Two A Days', Plagued By Scandal</a><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://mlb.fanhouse.com/2007/06/23/mel-hall-likes-them-young/">Mel Hall Likes Them Young</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://mlb.fanhouse.com">MLB FanHouse</a> on Sat, 23 Jun 2007 23:10:00 EST .
